ThornCreek Christian Middle School offers sixth through eighth graders the opportunity to develop their life in a nurturing Christ-centered environment. Students are encouraged to grow spiritually, personally, and academically.
The Bible is considered as the basis for all truth; therefore, it is integrated into each subject area. Biblical based curriculum, from BJU Press and A Beka Book, is used in teaching all their classes.
Weekly chapels and Discipleship groups provide opportunities for all students to reinforce scriptural principles into their daily lives.

Sixth Grade Outdoor Ed
This is a program where the sixth grade students will attend a week at Camp IdRaHaJe in the Rockies.
Mountain Lab School (MLS) is an outdoor education program where God is the emphasis and nature is the classroom. Instructors teach all the classes and activities which gives the teachers the opportunity to interact with their students in a whole new way.
History, Science, Culture Fair
During the third quarter, middle school students will participate in developing project with a report. The sixth graders will be dealing with world history, the seventh graders will develop a science project and the eighth graders have a project concerning U.S. history (in accordance with History Day projects).
Art projects from the entire year will be displayed at the fair. The Fair is coordinated with the Parent Teacher Fellowship during the Spring Semester.
The Middle School participates in the ThornCreek Christian School Spelling Bee in the Fall and in the local ACSI Spelling Bee during the winter.
ThornCreek Christian School had participants in the Regional Spelling Bee over the last three years. We also host the ACSI area Spelling Bee.
Middle School Field Day
Each spring, the Middle School will participate in a variety of activities which are design to teach the students about teamwork. The activities are held at the school and at a local park. The classes are intermixed into teams for a day of fun, teamwork, competition, and praise.
